Hi Kirill,
That's the key point. That's how it works. Unfortunately, the choice of insertion locations that you are planning is not effective for my purposes. In the wordpress context the <div tag would be better than the <p tag. Can you do that?

In the universal snippet, you can use html. You can wrap your text in a tag. Example: <div>something</div>

Please describe your case.
Did you get the snippet text inside <p></p>?

What WordPress theme are you using?

Im am using wordpress theme twentyseventeen. No, I dont will put the snippets inside a paragraph. Yes I am using the universal snippet. My problem is that the location logic using the "content" selection ist to coarse for my intentions. The other point is that there are no <p> tags in the target pages. These pages show up as a sequence of <div> tags.
