BUG Hiding Admin Bar Items Doesn't Work Outside of Dashboard

The super-long admin bar length breaks my testing pages which is a big reason to use this feature.

So as a logged-in administrator, when viewing my site's pages, I can't remove these items from my toolbar?

OK. Really hope that we have the option to keep the top admin bar in that state in future releases. ????
