Ok, I'm an idiot. I setup to hide both wp-admin and login page. I made a note of the recovery page, and went about my business.

Then the new login page failed to load, ignoring my request (I have "hide 404 errors" turned on with iThemes security). So I went to the rescue link. All worked fine and wp-admin was back. So, I thought I'd try again, turned on wp-admin and login page hiding, and logged out.

Again it failed to go to the new login page. So I clicked the recovery link - but to no avail !!!! Of course it had changed when I re-enabled the hides. So, I don't have a copy of the new rescue link !!!!

I do have access to the sql database as root, and I have root access to the shell.

Is there a way I can save the day without reloading everything ??
