BUG Featured images not auto generating on post publishing

Hi, I am using the free version and new posts don't generate featured images. However, pages do generate images on publishing instead of posts.

how do I resolve this? i want posts to auto-generate and want to deactivate for pages. Thanks

In the settings, you can choose which type of post to generate images for.
