We've done a migration of a very old database. We used export/import for the content. There were a huge number of images that were uploaded via ftp. We ran a script that synced the images to the Media Library. Each post now shows "Could not retrieve the featured image data." Your plugin sees all these as posts already having featured images, so it doesn't generate anything. What's missing? Some metadata has gotten disconnected?
