Hey guys, I'm interested in testing the Auto Featured Image (auto Post Thumbnail) plugin for my sites. I'm curious about the image size, though. We all know that images from pixaby, unsplash, pexels, etc. have really huge file size and can slow down your site.

Does the plugin have any features that can address this? For example: converting the images to webp or avif, or compressing the images?

I tried to search your website, but I can't find any information regarding this.

Hello.

The plugin takes the maximum available resolution for images. But WordPress creates and uses thumbnails of images, so the performance of the site does not suffer.

You can also install the image optimization plugin separately.
