QUESTION Why can't I run the automatic bulk optimization after switching to lossy from loseless?

After I ran the lossless bulk optimization I decided that maybe it's time to try the lossy one (I performed it first on one picture manually from the media gallery and was pleased with the results).

I tried to go back to the settings, chose the lossy one instead of lossless, and went back to bulk optimization. Even after switching to the lossy one, it's still showing 100% optimized images and I can't run the lossy bulk compression of my images no matter what - only if I click manually in my media library to "re-optimize to lossy".

To re-optimize images, you need to restore the image backup in the plugin settings, and then start the optimization again.
